PUMPER
HIGH HEADROOM BOOST, BUFFER & TONE SHAPER utilising a low noise op-amp and internal voltage doubling circuitry to create over 25dB of clean boost.
With all controls at zero, the PUMPER operates as a buffer/line-driver with an extremely natural tone and fell - just like running straight into your amp with a short cable. But the active buffering means you can drive long cables lengths and passive signal chains with no loss of signal clarity and strength.
The GAIN control is your boost amount, going from unity signal level and smoothly transitioning to LOADS of full-range level boost!
The LPF and HPF are post-boost tonal filtering controls, rolling off treble and bass frequencies to shape and fine tune your tone. This is especially helpful when used pre-gain, allowing you to push a drive pedal or distorted amp harder, but tighten up and focus the response by trimming off low and high frequencies to taste.
Every pedal is lovingly and meticulously designed, handmade and hand-wired in England by Neil R. Grimes using top quality components.
There is a range of variations and customisations available when ordering:
1 KNOB
Single GAIN control for boost level and true-bypass footswitching.
2 KNOB / 2 FS
Two independant footswitchable GAIN controls, indicated by left or right side smaller LEDs. This allows you to set two different levels of signal boost and flip between them at the stomp of a switch.
3 knob
Additional LPF & HPF tone shaping controls, with single GAIN control and true-bypass footswitch.
4 KNOB / 2 FS
Fully featured version with two independant footswitchable GAIN controls, plus LPF & HPF controls.

As standard, all these versions come with anodised aluminium logo/model faceplates and my special control name labelled knobs using anodised aluminium inserts, housed in robust raw aluminium finish enclosures (measuring 112 x 60mm). Upgrading to a textured black powder-coated finished enclosure is available when ordering. Other enclosure colours, shapes, sizes and styles are available by special request.
Input, output and 9VDC sockets are all top edge mounted with good space between, insuring a compact footprint and ease of use within pedalboard setups.
Studio quality cabling is specially adapted for the passive input and output runs, with a very low capacitance and braided sheilding around to ensure the highest fidelity bypass signal and low noise operation.
