FUZZER

VINTAGE INSPIRED FUZZ with a pair of carefully selected low gain silicon transistors at its heart, offering a really wide range of classic and original fuzz tones, textures and responses.

The FUZZER interacts highly with your instrument's passive volume and tone controls to create cleaner responses and smoother tones.

Every pedal is lovingly and meticulously designed, handmade and hand-wired in England by Neil R. Grimes using top quality components.

There is a range of variations and customisations available when ordering:

2 KNOB
An elegant minimalist setup that offers a surprisingly wide variation of fuzz tones.
Controls for LOUD (master volume with lots of level boost on tap) and BIAS (affecting response and feel, from gated and squashy to bold and punchy), plus an internal FUZZ trimmer that can be reduced by user to taste for less overall attack and saturation.
Single true-bypass footswitch and large status LED.

4 KNOB
This expanded version adds pre-fuzz controls for input GAIN and TONE, giving even more versatility with clean-up and tonal smoothing on the pedal itself. This then enables even more clean-up and tonal variation with your guitar's controls.

4 KNOB / 2 FS
The additional right-side FULL footswitch allows you to bypass the GAIN and TONE controls, indicated by lit smaller LED. So you can seamlessly go from the more relaxed and filtered responses set with the pre-fuzz controls, to big soaring fully open fuzz. This essentially gives you access to both the 2 KNOB and 4 KNOB setups at the stomp of a switch!

As standard, all these versions come with anodised aluminium logo/model faceplates and my special control name labelled knobs using anodised aluminium inserts, housed in robust raw aluminium finish enclosures (measuring 112 x 60mm). Upgrading to a textured black powder-coated finished enclosure is available when ordering. Other enclosure colours, shapes, sizes and styles are available by special request.  
Input, output and 9VDC sockets are all top edge mounted with good space between, insuring a compact footprint and ease of use within pedalboard setups.
Studio quality cabling is specially adapted for the passive input and output runs, with a very low capacitance and braided sheilding around to ensure the highest fidelity bypass signal and low noise operation.
